About (h)ours
My debut album is the result of a collaboration with my dad: composer, keyboardist and producer Bo Heart.
Traveling on tour with my dad from an early age and being part of his life as a musician – I was always part of a family of musicians and artists. By the time I started my own professional career as an actress, creating art and making music together felt absolutely natural to me and Dad. We decided to join forces when we were both kept off stage by the pandemic of 2020. “(h)ours” is a fusion of the musical and lyrical ideas of both of our generations and experiences.
“(h)ours” is a journey, not only through different genres of music like pop, soul, blues and everything in-between, but also through different stories. I’m currently a member of the ensemble at Theater Osnabrück in Germany. In “(h)ours” I’ve sought a unique way to integrate my acting experience into a music performance. Some of the stories are autobiographical, some stem from my own or at times mine and my dad’s observation of other realities.
